Garbage to Green
PURE is collaborating with the Alameda County Library for the Garbage to Green event. This event promotes the reuse of plastic containers and gives people the opportunity to donate their used plastic containers, which in turn reduces the amount of plastic that pollutes the environment. These plastic containers will be repurposed into pots for plants. You can drop them off in the donation box at any of the locations in the flyer.

We are involving and educating young, elementary school children in the Decoration Drive. In this picture, Aubrey Newberry has shown a lot of interest and helped decorate the box for the event.
